Get to know Uno
You can now get help applying to state and federal financial assistance programs free of charge.
Applying to programs that help with medical bills, nutrition assistance, prescription medications, and other necessities can be challenging.
Fortunately, Independence Blue Cross (IBX) is working with Uno Health (Uno) to make it easier for you to apply for Pennsylvania state and federal financial assistance programs.
Just how much can Uno save you? On average, Uno helps eligible members save $4,500 per year. And as an IBX Medicare Advantage member, you have access to Uno’s services at no cost.
Uno can help you find out if you qualify for any of the following programs:
- Medicaid. Pay as little as $0 on medical bills, and get $0 copays.
- Medicare Savings Program (MSP). Get up to $203 per month back in your Social Security check.
- Supplemental Nutrition Assistance (SNAP). Get up to $298 per month to spend on groceries.
- Low Income Subsidy (LIS) or "Extra Help." Pay no more than $13 for each covered prescription.
- PACE/PACENET. Pay no more than $15 for covered prescriptions.
- Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP). Save up to $1,200 per year on your home heating bills.
- Lifeline. Save up to $10 per month on your phone and internet service.

- Easily upload documents to enroll in savings programs.
- Once your documents are submitted, you may start seeing savings within one month!

Not every member will be eligible for a government program. For those eligible, the amount of money saved will vary.
